Police seek alleged New Year's morning stabber

A fight at a convenience store in the city's Northeast side New Year's morning has police searching for an alleged stabber.

Crime Stoppers of El Paso released a picture captured on surveillance video of a man thought to have stabbed two men, both 20 and 23 years old, sending them to the hospital.

El Paso Police officers say the men were fighting outside the Circle K, 4501 Woodrow Bean, around 1:45 a.m. New Year's Day, when one man pulled out a knife.

Three other men had minor injuries.

The man caught on tape was seen wearing a blue Los Angeles Dodgers jacket, a dark-colored baseball cap, and is described as heavy-set with a mustache.

He's believed to be driving a tan or gold 2000 Ford Explorer.
