Police Searching For Suspect in Deadly Northeast Bar Shooting
EL PASO - A 33-year-old man was shot and killed after a fight early Sunday morning outside a Northeast El Paso bar.
Police said they responded to an altercation in the parking lot of the Shooters Billiards bar on Dyer St. and Johnson. They say a 33-year-old man was in a fight with at least one other man and was shot at least once.
Police said the man was taken by friends to William Beaumont Army Medical Center where he later died.
Neighbors in the area said this isn't the first time an incident like this has happened and they've grown accustomed to heavy bar traffic.
"Sometimes we hear arguments and stuff like that, but that's every weekend," said Alex Carillo, who lives down the street from the bar.
Police are still looking for a suspect believed to have been involved in the fatal shooting.
