Police need help finding a teenager who robbed an elderly woman at knife point in Central El Paso.

Police said the teen waited for an 87-year-old woman to get off a bus at Sacramento and Russell the morning of July 15. He then allegedly followed her to her home nearby and asked to use her telephone. Once inside, the teen allegedly threatened the woman with a knife, demanded money and jewelry and then pushed her to the floor.

Police said this incident should serve as a warning to everyone.

"It's also important for residents to remember not to allow anyone they don't know into their homes. Be suspicious of any individual trying to make their way into the residence," said Javier Sambrano with The El Paso Police Department.

The woman was not seriously injured.

If you know who the teen is or have any information, please call Crime Stoppers at 566-TIPS.
