A man threatened a convenience store clerk and got away with some beer.

Police said a man walked into the Circle K on West Yandell near West Missouri at 5 a.m. on Saturday, January 5.

They said he first went to the restroom. When he came out, he picked out various food items and put them on the counter and then went back for one last item.

"This individual then went and grabbed a 20-pack of Bud Light and at that moment, as he was placing that on the counter, made a motion and threat of having a weapon, threatened the clerk and left the store with the beer," said Javier Sambrano with the El Paso Police Department.

The robber in this case was described as a Hispanic man, in his late 20's to early 30's with a goatee or mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.

If you recognize him or have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 566-TIPS.
