Police search for hit-and-run driver

EL PASO — A woman was hit by a car in Northeast El Paso and the driver took off. Police need your help to put that driver behind bars.
A 52-year-old woman was crossing Dyer near Polk on November 20 when a car hit her. Police said she was not in a crosswalk. The woman suffered serious injuries.
Witnesses described the car as a grey or silver Dodge Intrepid with Chihuahua license plates.
"This vehicle also had a very distinctive feature which was a different colored left front quarter panel or fender," said Javier Sambrano with the El Paso Police Department.
The driver is described as a Hispanic man possibly in his 50's.
Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 566-TIPS.
