EL PASO — Police reported a continuous decrease in a variety of criminal categories into July 2012 as compared to the same time last year. 

The biggest drop was seen in burglary of vehicles, with a 23 percet decrease through July 7. Vehicle thefts, assaults and robberies are also down. 

There have been noted increases in the number of Burglaries and Larceny (Thefts).
