EL PASO – Police have released a photograph they hope will help identify the city's latest murder victim, who was beaten to death with a bat in a South El Paso apartment last week.

The photograph is of a tattoo on the man's arm that says “Linda.”

Police say the victim is a black man between 45 to 55 years old. He was wearing a black leather jacket, black jeans and dark slippers.

Police have arrested Lorenzo Carreon and charged him with the man's murder. According to investigators, Carreon beat the victim to death with a bat after a fight inside an apartment on the 400 block of Tays last Tuesday evening.

If you have any information about the victim's identity, you're asked to call police.
