Police investigate suspicious device at Central El Paso gas station
EL PASO (KTSM) — Someone found a suspicious device outside a Circle K in Central El Paso.
Police got the call from the Circle K on Monroe and Dyer at 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
Two bomb techs were able to safely recover the device and determined it was a military grade smoke canister with no explosives.
They turned it over to Fort Bliss military personnel.
During the investigation, the Circle K was closed to business for nearly two hours.
