Police have identified the student found dead yesterday in an empty lot in South Juarez.

State police say 17-year-old Anahi Contreras Valdez from the "Conalep" school had two gunshot woulds; one on the forehead and another on her back.

They also found she was hit with a heavy rock in the head.

Police found Valdez with her eyes covered with a cloth and hands and feet tied with duck tape.

Authorities say Valdez was last seen in school Wednesday when she didn't return home.
