Police, EMS respond to far east El Paso pedestrian collision

Emergency Scanner Traffic: Child may be involved

El Paso Police Special Traffic Investigators (STI) are on the scene of a collision involving a pedestrian in far east El Paso.

According to the El Paso Fire Department the wreck happened shortly after 1pm Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of Oxcart Run and Bell Tower Avenue, just west of Jane A Hambric Elementary School.

The wreck involved a 'red vehicle' and, according to emergency radio transmission at the time of the wreck, a child was involved in the incident.

EPFD officials say that one person was transported to Del Sol Medical Center in serious condition.
