Police: El Paso teen reported missing in May is back home
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — An El Paso teenager who was reported missing in May has returned home, according to El Paso police. Police said Jade Alexander, 16, returned after seeing her picture in the media.
Friends told investigators that they had seen Jade in the El Paso area since she went missing, and officers also received information that she was staying in the Westway/Vinton area with friends. However, investigators said Friday that there were no leads in the case as to Jade's whereabouts.
Previous reports indicated that Jade was not happy at home, and that she would often leave home voluntarily.
Jade was back home as of Sunday morning.
