EL PASO – A man is facing aggravated robbery charges after police said he robbed two men in Downtown El Paso early Monday morning.

According to investigators, 36-year-old Gerardo Moreno stole a man's wallet after displaying a large spade bit as a weapon in the 400 block of Kansas.

About 15 minutes later, police said he used the same weapon to rob another man in the 200 block of South Ochoa.

A police officer recognized his truck and arrested him at Gateway West and Piedras.
