Police affidavit releases new details about murder of El Paso teen
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — We're learning new about the murder of an El Paso teenager. According to a police affidavit obtained by Newschannel 9, 18 year-old Saeed Nami was shot by two men, 21year-old George Diamos and 21 year-old Geoff Bond. Both men allegedly fired multiple shots.
Both are now facing capital murder charges, although their mug shots have yet to be released. The pair allegedly shot Nami, after he refused to give them his backpack. The affidavit says they also shot at Nami's older brother, but missed.
The 18 year-old's funeral mass will then take place tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church off of Alabama.
