Poki Roni Ranch Owner Enters Not Guilty Plea

The owner of the Poki Roni Ranch has pleaded not guilty to a charge of assisted suicide. Travis Kirchner, 56, entered his plea today. He is accused of helping his mother, Patricia, end her life.
The two both ran the ranch.

Last year, Patricia was found dead inside a car at her home. According to court documents, Travis told police he and his mother made a suicide pact. Because carbon monoxide was used as a weapon the DA's office says he could face up to 10 years in prison.
