Authorities had to use the jaws of life to rescue a person out of a car after an overnight crash in West El Paso.

Police say it all happened around 11 Monday night in the 500 block of Mesa Hills near the Ryan's Crossing apartment complex. That's where police say a speeding vehicle rear ended a parked SUV. Authorities had to scramble to remove a passenger from one of the vehicles.

We're told the victim involved in the crash was sent to the hospital with unknown injuries. Authorities have not arrested anyone and they have not said if alcohol is a factor in this crash.
