EL PASO--- A traffic accident in West El Paso Saturday evening has claimed a life.

A vehicle hit and killed a pedestrian in the 1900 block of Paisano on the city's westside.
Police say the victim is a 29-year-old man but have not released his identity.

The accident shut down traffic for hours on Paisano from Executive Center Boulevard to the Union Plaza area.
