EL PASO — A total of 12 DWI cases were generated by police within a 24-hour period in various areas of El Paso between Wednesday and Thursday.

The first was documented early Wednesday at 12:02 a.m., and the second occured just six minutes later. The third was documented at 12:14 a.m. Intermittent arrests were made through the night and into early Thursday morning, totaling a dozen cases.
