For thousands of parents in Las Cruces, a tax free weekend couldn't come at a better time.

This weekend in New Mexico, customers can save on clothes, computers and school supplies.

Parents sending their kids back to school can expect to keep about $7.50 for every $100 they spend.

While that may not seem like much, parents say the savings add up.

The New Mexico Tax Free Weekend ends Sunday.
