Overnight Stove Fire Will Cause Delayed Hours For Popular Seafood Restaurant Today
EL PASO — Firefighters responded to an overnight fire at Landry's Seafood Restaurant in East El Paso.
Flames were reportedly shooting from the stove.
The fire started shortly before 1:00 a.m. Monday. Firefighters were able to control the flames within about 15 minutes.
According to emergency scanners, one person was inside the restaurant when the fire started and was able to escape safely.
Several gas lines were damaged and the leaks are being repaired. There was no structural damage to the building.
Landry's will have a delayed opening today, and is expected to open for business at 12:00 p.m.
