Overnight Fire Sparks at Vacant Home Near Shed Fire From Day Before

Firefighters are investigating an early morning fire at a vacant home in Central El Paso.

Fire crews responded to the home on Idalia Ave. and Louisiana St. shortly before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to firefighters on the scene, the side wall of the home was on fire.

No one was inside the home at the time. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Shortly before 6:00 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a separate fire in the 2600 block of Idalia Ave.

According to the El Paso Fire Department, a shed attached to the garage of a vacant home was on fire.

The cause of that fire also remains under investigation.

Fire investigators have not said if both fires were at the same home, or if they believe the fires are related.
