MESQUITE, NM - Authorities in New Mexico say a thief or thieves broke into a Mesquite grocery store in an unusual way to steal junk food and pocket change.

Dona Ana County Sheriff's Deputies say the they used the roof to gain access to Del Cerro Grocery Store in the 224 block of La Fe. Once inside, they stole candy, canned drinks, bakery bread, cigarettes, phone cards and rolls of quarters dimes nickels and pennies.

So far, Deputies have not made any arrests in the case.
