The Susan G. Komen Foundation in El Paso announced several changes to this year's Race for the Cure.

One major change is a move from Cohen Stadium in Northeast El Paso to Biggs Park on Biggs Army Airfield inside of Fort Bliss.

The race, which is usually held in February, will be held on March 2 this year.

Komen El Paso's Executive Director Stephanie Flora said there will also be a concert in the park following the race. The Chicago tribute band, Windy City, will perform.

This year, Komen El Paso will also hold 15 days of $15.  It will allow people who register online to only pay a registration fee of $15 from November 8-22.  The competitive race is an additional $5.
