El Paso – The El Paso zoo will be taking part in worldwide Orangutan Awareness Week, next week from November 7-14.

The zoo will have a Conservation Action Discovery Station table set up each day at the front gate and at the orangutan habitat from 12:30-1:30pm.

The zoo says its two Sumatran Orangutans, Henry and Ibu, will also get special foods.

Sumatran orangutans are a critically endangered species.
