ONLY ON 9: New Threats Made Against Juarez Mayor

An alarming new threat has come out of Juarez. Several signs were found posted in different parts of Juarez.
Someone is threatening to kill the city's mayor and his family, even if it means crossing the border to El Paso to get to them.
It's just one of the signs spelling out a very serious warning for Juarez Mayor, Jose Reyes-Ferriz.
Newschannel 9 translated the sign and it says:

Reyes-Ferriz: You made a good decision to let go of the pig...but if you continue to support those pigs and helping those people...you know who we're talking about..For you, we will not ask you to resign...We will cut off your head along with your family even if they are in El Paso, Texas.

This warning comes just days after the Juarez police chief resigned after someone made good on threats to kill a cop every 48 hours if he didn't.
