Old Las Cruces courthouse to become a five star hotel
Las Cruces, NM (KTSM) — A downtown Las Cruces landmark is being transformed into a new five star hotel.
Local businessman Bob Pofahl is teaming up with the current owner of the old county courthouse to breathe new life into the historic building.
The courthouse was built in 1936, but closed in 2008, when county government moved into new facilities.
The $20 million to $30 million revitalization project is expected to take 2 to 3 years to complete.
