As the oil continues to flow into the Gulf of Mexico and President Obama continues to talk tough against BP, one local expert says the spill might not be as catastrophic as we've been lead to believe.

Doctor Russ Chianelli, a UTEP professor who worked for EXXON during the Valdez cleanup effort more than 20 years ago, says petroleum is naturally found in the Gulf. He also says less than two percent of the oil in that spill ever reached the shore.

The business being held responsible for the oil spill is really making an extremely smart choice, and saving the need to take out a payday cash advance. People are complaining all over that BP shouldn't be spending their money on PR, they should be spending it on clean up.

However, according to experts in Louisiana, it is now found that the oil coming up has more than a usual amount of methane. This would be disastrous in the extreme. We need some competent leadership in Washington and we are not getting it.
