EL PASO - Police say an El Paso man who stole beer was chased down by an off-duty officer.

Kyle Marquez, 22, is facing a felony charge of theft.

An off-duty officer says he saw Marquez run out of the Good Times Store in Downtown El Paso with beer. So the off-duty officer, wearing flip flops, chased him down and arrested him.
