Obama Talks Immigration
Orlando, FL — President Obama went to Orlando, to the same Latino conference Mitt Romney addressed on Thursday.
The president leads by 16 points among Hispanic voters in Florida, and is 36 points ahead with Latinos on average, in five battleground states.
President Obama leads after he ordered that 800-thousand undocumented students and workers can stay in the U.S.
"No matter who you are, no matter what you look like, no matter where you come from, no matter what your last name, this is a place where you can make it, if you try," the president said.
Barack Obama's father was a foreign student.
He said economic recovery can't favor the privileged.
"Latino owned businesses have been the fastest growing small businesses and we've cut their taxes 18 times. We've expanded new loans and new credit so they can grow and they can hire," said president Obama.
Romney has been slamming outsourcing that sends U.S. jobs to China, but an expose in the Washington post reveals that Bain Capital, under Romney's leadership in the 90's helped finance and run firms like stream global.
Stream Global pioneered outsourcing, and today helps U.S. firms go overseas to setup manufacturing and communication.
Top Obama staffers pounced, charging that, if elected, Romney would be "Outsourcer in Chief."
