President Obama visits Ohio and Pennsylvania to speak on health care and the economy...

President Obama went to the Chevy Cobalt plant in Lordstown, Ohio Tuesday where a thousand workers are being called back from layoffs.

Cobalt was a big seller in the Obama cash for clunkers program, giving General Motors a boost after its government bailout.

Retail spending kicked up sharply in August, up 2.7 percent in new numbers.

Later in the day at a speech to the AFL-CIO in Pittsburgh that felt like a rally for health care reform, the president said rising medical costs are pushing down the economy and workers' wages.

Back in Washington, Republicans say we can't rush reform.

But President Obama is turning up the heat by reviving last year's winning campaign style, just in time for Senate Democrats to detail their health care reform proposal and escalate the partisan fight.
