Northeast residents concerned about 'flying' trash
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — Residents in a Northeast El Paso neighborhood are sounding off against what they call a constant problem. They claim the recycling plant on Wren Avenue, Friedman Recycling, has been unable to keep their trash contained.
This is a story that was unearthed in 2009, when El Paso City Council heard from the company to see if they were violating ordinances by stacking too many bales of trash on its site. At the time, Morris Friedman, the owner, told us there was a backlog of material which was being stored on the property.
