Northeast Neighborhood Targeted in Recent Crime Spree

UPDATE at 4:46 p.m.-- EPPD has now said that an additional four vehicles were also burglarized in this crime spree. 

The total is ten vehicles burglarized and one stolen.

 

EL PASO— A Northeast neighborhood has been hit with a series of car burglaries, and even one car was stolen between Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning.

El Paso police officers responded to a report of several car burglaries and a car theft early Thursday morning. EPPD said six cars were burglarized overnight, and even one was stolen.

EPPD is currently looking for a stolen gray 2010 Hyundai Elantra with Texas license plates CC7T860.

EPPD is asking that El Pasoans remember to secure their vehicles. None of the vehicles involved in this crime spree were secured.
