North Korea nuclear activity increases
KOREA CENTRAL TELEVISION — South Korea is keeping a close eye on its northern neighbor, with reports Pyongyang may be preparing for a nuclear test. The Defense Ministry in Seoul released a statement saying it has noticed increased activity at North Korea's main nuclear test site in Punggye-ri.
The statement did not specify what the activities were, saying the information was classified. The report comes just days before President Obama is due to arrive in South Korea as part of a visit to several Asian countries.
The South says its military is on the alert monitoring the alleged activitity.
