No Charges To Be Filed In Vado Child Drownings

No one will be charged in the drowning deaths of two children in Vado over the weekend.

Saturday, a five-year-old girl and her three-year-old brother wandered away from a party and drowned in a deep pool of rain water.

After reviewing the case, Dona Ana County District Attorney Susanna Martinez has decided not to pursue criminal charges, calling the incident a tragic accident.
