In response to the lost accreditation of the Doña Ana Community College nursing program, New Mexico State University issued the following statement:

"NMSU will provide scholarships to cover tuition and fees for DACC nursing students who transfer into the BSN program and the scholarship can be renewed through the duration of the program if the student maintains a 3.O.”

DACC lost accrediation earlier this month due to from the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission came from a lack of full-time faculty.

The program has 109 students with only six full-time faculty members.
