NMSU Hikes Tuition
Las Cruces - (AP) Regents at New Mexico State University have approved a tuition increase.
The measure passed today with four regents in favor and student regent Chris Anaya voting against it.
The approval clears the way for an 8 percent increase for in-state tuition and fees, while out-of-state rates will increase by 10 percent.
Regents also unanimously approved a 3 percent hike in housing and meal fees and an increase of 4.5 percent for most parking permits.
