NMSU basketball player enters plea in court
LAS CRUCES — A New Mexico State University basketball player has pleaded not guilty to felony assault charges. 22 year-old Tyrone Watson allegedly attacked 19 year-old Miguel Rascon at a house party in January because he thought Rascon was dancing with his girlfriend. Rascon suffered several broken bones in his face. Watson was suspended from the basketball team for several weeks. He rejoined the Aggies on March 2nd, but injured his ankle in his second game back and hasn't played since.
