LAS CRUCES — New Mexico State University will appoint a new interim president Wednesday.
As we reported, President Barbara Coutoure resigned last week after reaching a separation agreement with the university.
The school's board of regents is scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. in executive session, followed by an open meeting at 10 a.m.
The school is actively searching for a permanent replacement, and the board of regents will meet Oct. 15 to discuss that search.
