LAS CRUCES, N.M. - With the New Mexico State Aggies playing Indiana in the NCAA Tournament, local stores selling Aggie gear are seeing an increase in business.

The New Mexico State men's basketball team clinched a spot in the dance by beating Louisiana Tech in the WAC Championship last Saturday. On Sunday, Coach Menzies and his boys found out they would be playing Indiana in the first round.

"We get prouder, everybody always says Aggies just lose but when we win the WAC you have to be prouder and show your pride," said NMSU student Dianna Vigil.

The bookstore said t-shirts are the biggest seller. Employees are continually restocking shelves because anything with an Aggie logo is moving fast.

Alejandro Munoz said he was going to do some shopping before the Thursday's game.

"I'm probably going to buy some new shirts and a brand new hat," Munoz said. "It's all about NMSU."

The bookstore will have NCAA t-shirts and WAC Championship shirts available later this week. The Aggies take on the Hoosiers Thursday night at 7:45.
