EL PASO -- NewsChannel 9's Kitchen Cops is exposing which El Paso restaurants are passing and which are failing city health inspections.

On tonight's episode we'll be featuring six more restaurants, including "La Roca Market" at 6841 El Paso Drive. It failed inspection on April 12th with a score of 59.

According to the inspection report, food was being kept at the wrong temperatures, a dirty spoon handle was placed in a bowl of salsa, a roach was seen crawling on a wall and rodent droppings were found in the hallways and under a sink. The inspector also said the stove and grill were dirty.

Coming up tonight on NewsChannel 9 at 5, 6 and 10, find out which other restaurants failed and why. We'll also show you which restaurants have the cleanest kitchens.

You would think that only small fast food restaurants don't pass inspections. But I think they should inspect Hotel restaurants, especially the high price would be surprised what goes on in those kitchens. But what would I know I only witnessed one Hotel kitchen for 8 years-and they should also do a key-eye inspection on bartending guns and hoses that give out the drinks. What little suckers can be hiding in those small narrow spaces...hmmm
