EL PASO - Destiny Family Christian Center presented Noreen Jaramillo and Mark Mathis with the Operation Hope Spirit Award.

Mark Mathis accepted the award on behalf of the pair, during a service on Sunday morning.

"What an honor and a privilege to get the Sprit of El Paso award," Mathis said.

The church honors El Pasoans with the award once a year, and they give it to people who promote the spirit of El Paso.
