New York may become the next state to legalize medical marijuana.New York Governor Cuomo announced that a deal was reached among lawmakers on the Compassionate Care Act. The bill would allow tightly controlled medical marijuana treatments for those with severe debilitating or life-threatening conditions.

Under the Compassionate Care Act, the drug will not be sold in plant form or be able to be smoked, but administered through an oil base or vaporizer. If approved, the program could start in 18 months.

Thanks for this post. Let me share something about marijuana. Contrary to public opinion, Washington state and Colorado did not legalize cannabis. As the substance is still governed, voters in those states really passed weed decriminalization laws. Semantics aside, those states are poised to reap financial
benefits of doing so, not least of which being million in tax revenue.

What is the use if there is so much restriction on how New Yorkers can use medicinal marijuana? The drug will not be sold in plant form or be able to be smoked! No seeds no stems that I don't need wonder if Texas is ever going to get off the refer madness propaganda wagon and legalize this good thing!
