EL PASO - For more than 20 years, the Sportspark in East El Paso has been one of the most popular places to play ball in the Borderland.
But a decision this week could mean a new chapter for the Sportspark.

A County Commissioner has come up with a plan for a new sportspark to replace the current one on El Paso's east side.

Anna Perez wants a new sportspark built off Pellicano in two years.

She says she has the support for such a park which would cost between $6 and $8 million.

The county took over the current Sportspark in 2002.

Why? How much? Where is the money coming from? Who will financially benefit from building a new one? Who is working on it? What is their relation to Ana Perez? Does anyone benefiting from this new project associated with Ana Perez in any form? Something tells me, if these questions are answered truthfully, you will find a rat with an agenda, and motive other thn looking after the citizens of El Paso.

The city of El Paso is so lame.
They have been trying to build a sportspark, complex.multi use stadium for years. Now The small town of Sunland Park is already building one. First Western Playland left Hell Paso now they are getting a multi use stadiam before El Paso Taxes. (not spelled wrong)
