New Mexico to offer late season archery licenses for elk
Santa Fe, NM (KTSM) — New Mexico hunters have a better chance of bagging a bull elk this fall.
The state is going to sell late season archery licenses in Southern and Western New Mexico.
The 275 licenses will go on sale on the Department of Game and Fish's website next Wednesday, October 30th.
Only New Mexico residents can buy them for the first 24 hours of the sale.
Any licenses that remain will then be offered to out of state hunters.
