Millions of dollars in stimulus money is heading to El Paso. Today Texas transportation leaders approved a $146 million plan to overhaul the intersection of I-10 and Loop 375 in East El Paso. The new interchange with four on ramps will connect both freeways with hopes of alleviating congestion. I-10 will be directly connected to Loop 375. Right now drivers have to exit on Americas before heading north on the Loop 375. The project is set to be complete within three years. During that time Tx-DOTsays hundreds of jobs will be created in the area to support construction.
