Santa Teresa Airport will host Amigo Airsho

It's official.  The Amigo Airsho is moving to the Santa Teresa Airport.  Doña Ana County Commissioners approved a five year agreement by a unanimous vote, although the first major-scale show will not happen until the fall of 2014.

A one-day educational show will be held for area children in October.  Some 80,000 people attended last year's show at Fort Bliss. The new venue will only hold crowds of 25,000-30,000 people.

"As far as parking people will be able to park close to the center so there will be no more places. People will be able to walk straight through and enter. You'll be right at show center so I think you'll see a big difference," said Roxie Samaniego of the Amigo Airsho.

Next year's show will be held in October.  Dates are set to be finalized in December.
