Memphis, TN (WMC) — New evidence has been uncovered in connection with the ricin-laced letters that were sent to President Obama and two other public officials.
According to an unsealed FBI affidavit, a Ricin positive dust mask has been linked to James Everett Dutschke who was arrested, Saturday.
The affidavit says items, including a dust mask, were recovered from a trash can down the street from a martial arts studio and also tested positive for ricin.
The affidavit also says Dutschke bought castor beans on the internet, which are used to make ricin.
A preliminary hearing for Dutschke's case is set for Thursday.
