EL PASO - The Neon Desert Music Festival is coming to El Paso April 30 and features local food vendors and 29 bands.

The festival will take place in San Jacinto Plaza and Cleveland Square Park. The frontman from the Mars Volta is a headliner, as well as the bands MSTRKRFT and Kinky.

Regional artists will also display some live art installations.Tickets are $35 and a portion of the revenue will be donated to Creative Kids, Amor Por Juarez, and $1 from every ticket will be donated to El Paso Parks and Recreation. Organizers hope to make this an annual event.

"As native El Pasoans, we are excited that some of today's top talent have signed on to play for the Sun City," said one of the event organizers, Zach Paul, in a statement. "We hope people will come out, support live music, enjoy the city's best food and drink and have a great time in downtown El Paso."
