An El Paso business was featured on national television Friday night on the CBS reality show "Undercover Boss."

The CEO of franchise yogurt shop, Menchie's, went undercover at the business's east side location.

The episode also featured one of the store's employees, who trained the company CEO without knowing it, and got rewarded with a big surprise for her hard work.

Menchie's at the Rojas and George Dieter had a viewing party on Friday to watch the episode.

"There's finally something happening here, you know what I mean, on a national level," said Isaac Tauaefa.

"It gives us good publicity, it shows really what El Paso is like - all the love, all the support we give to our citizens here," said Kathleen Duran.

"It's amazing for me to show everybody that El Paso is not just about the bad things - it's about the good things that happen here," said Jennifer Lutz, the Menchie's employee featured on the show.

While on the show, she told CEO Amit Kleinberger about her goal of becoming a school teacher, and he rewarded her hard work by surprising her with a $25,000 scholarship for college in Dallas.

"I struggled so much to make sure my parents didn't pay for school and i finally can say that hard work does pay off," said Jennifer.

As part of her prize, Menchie's will also give Jennifer a job at any one of their Dallas-Fort Worth area stores so she can continue working with the company while in school.
