Pax Christi, a national Catholic organization and the Peace and Justice ministry of the Catholic Diocese of El Paso sponsor a free film series here in the Borderland, based on spreading the message of peace and justice.

Today's film called "The Good War and Those Who Refused to Fight It" is based on conscientious objectors during WW2. They were people who decided to work in civilian public service camps, or served as medical guinea pigs instead of fighting in the war. A pastor from the Catholic organization says the film series is part of a larger movement.

"We try to remind people of solutions other than violent solutions to the problems of the world. Getting people to overcome their prejudices and their violent ways and collaborating with others. Learning to overcome their fears and open up to other people. Here in el Paso, it's a wonderful opportunity because it's a multicultural city, " said Pastor Ed Carpenter.

The next film in the Pax Christi film series " Monsignor: The Last Journey of Oscar Romero" will be shown on September 9th at the Mother Teresa Center.

republican mitt romney is a mormon, mormonism is an invented religion. mormonism invented to perpetuate the sexual perversions of a White man (marrying multiple wives-children). mormonism is crafted to justify the dehumanization of Native Americans, Blacks and Latinos.....
