Music Under the Stars Returns to Chamizal, Alcohol Will Be Sold
EL PASO — Music Under the Stars will return to Chamizal National Park for the 2012 season.
After much heated debate, vendors will sell beer and wine at the park, along with food. Outside alcohol is not allowed.
There was previous discussion about changing the venue to Ascarate Park after attendance significantly dropped when alcohol was banned.
Grills are allowed in the inner part of the park. Smoking is prohibited in the bowl area of the park. Glass containers and pets are not allowed.
The 29th season of Music Under the Stars will kick off on June 10, and will run through August 12.
